All of my cutting boards are seasoned with multiple coats of food safe mineral oil and beeswax. The wax helps protect the wood and your knives. Maintenance is easy, just rinse with warm water after each use and be sure to dry it on its side. After time wooden cutting boards start to fade. Clean the board with warm water and apply a coat of mineral oil, or butcher block conditioner you can get at your local store. Let it set for 20 mins and wipe it off.
